Appeals – Federal and State

LL&D attorneys have extensive experience writing federal and state appellate briefs. But unlike many firms, we also routinely present argument to appellate courts. Andy Lester, for instance, has presented dozens of oral arguments to the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, in Denver, Colorado. LL&D attorneys also regularly handle appeals in the Oklahoma appellate courts and are experienced in handling appeals to the United States Supreme Court.

Because of our appellate experience, attorneys from other firms often call upon us to file appeals for their clients. Our practice includes defending or seeking reversal of lower court decisions in everything from complex litigation to family law matters. We have extensive appellate experience in Constitutional law, employment law, federal and state regulatory issues, libel and slander, as well as more routine legal issues. Our appellate clients include individuals, businesses, and governmental entities.
