Past President Clark Jolley is well known to us all. A George Mikesell Award winner, Clark has served the Rotary Club of Edmond in many ways, and currently is our Sergeant-at-Arms. One thing we all know about Clark – his passion for service is evident in whatever he does.

Now in his second term as a State Senator, Clark was elected Republican Whip by his caucus colleagues during the 50th Oklahoma Legislature and currently serves as Assistant Majority Floor Leader. After two years as Co-Chairman of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Education, he was named in 2009 Chairman of the Senate Committee on Health & Human Services.

Clark received his undergraduate education at Oklahoma Baptist University, and obtained his law degree from the University of Oklahoma. He serves as a member of the Boards of the Fine Arts Institute of Edmond, the Oklahoma Academy for State Goals, and Oklahoma Science and Technology Research and Development, which oversees the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology (OCAST).
An active member of Henderson Hills Baptist Church, Clark has put his musical and other talents to work there for almost two decades as a member of the Worship and Arts Team. A graduate of Leadership Oklahoma Class XX and Leadership Edmond Class XVIII, Clark was selected to serve on the delegation to Korea for the American Council of Young Political Leaders.

Clark and Verlyne have been married for twelve years. They have two children, Lauren and Alex.
