Our special guest this week is Janet Yowell, the Executive Director of the Edmond Economic Development Authority. Janet is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the various programs of the EEDA. 

    Janet is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute and Leadership Edmond Class VIII. She has served as chairman, vice-chairman and secretary of the Governor's Economic Development Team.

    We all know Janet as a member of the Rotary Club of Edmond. But you may not know that Janet was named in 2006 as one of the 50 Women Making a Difference by the Journal Record.

    Janet resides in Edmond with her husband Mark and has two daughters.
