The Rotary Club of Edmond Goes Golfing

    Remember! Remember! Remember what, you might ask? Not the Maine. Not the Alamo. Not even Pearl Harbor.

    This week, remember that Edmond Rotarians are not meeting at Henderson Hills Baptist Church. Instead, on Wednesday, June 1, the Rotary Club of Edmond is sponsoring its annual golf tournament at Kickingbird Golf Club in Edmond. Check-in will start at 11:30. Lunch will be held outside, as usual. Golfers will tee off at 1:00.

    You do not need to be a golfer to attend. In fact, there are lots of prizes to be won by golfers and non-golfers alike! These include a $300 gift card from Academy Sports, a $150 gift certificate from Mahogany Prime Steakhouse, massages from Therapeutic Touch Massage. It will be a fun event for everyone.

    By the way, did you know that Kickingbird Golf Club is celebrating its 40th anniversary this week? Maybe one of our golfers will break the course record of 62.
 
Edmond Rotarians Volunteer At State Junior Golf Championship

    Members of the Rotary Club of Edmond will have another opportunity to help our community in two weeks when the Oklahoma Junior Golf Championship takes place at Kickingbird Golf Club. Jay Smith is looking for volunteers for one or two hours on Monday, June 13, and Tuesday, June 14, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., to help serve lunch to the junior golfers who have come from all over the state.
