Bruce Lawrence, President and Chief Executive Officer of INTEGRIS Health, will be our special guest this week at the Rotary Club of Edmond. Since joining INTEGRIS in 2001, Lawrence has also served as President of INTEGRIS Baptist and INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Centers, and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of INTEGRIS Health.

 

     Before coming to INTEGRIS, Bruce was Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Baptist Health in Montgomery, Alabama from 1996 – 2000, and for 11 years was Vice President at Baptist Health System in Little Rock, Arkansas. He received a Masters Degree in Health Care Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, and a Bachelors Degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

 

     Lawrence is Chairman of the Board of the Oklahoma Hospital Association, and serves on the boards of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, the State Chamber of Commerce, the State Fair, and the Jim Thorpe Association. He is an active member of Crossings Community Church, a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma, and is the past chair of the Greater Oklahoma City Hospital Council. Governor Brad Henry named him to the Oklahoma Trauma Council

 

     Bruce and his wife, Donna, have four children: Meghan and Blake Lawrence and Tyler and Tara Schooley. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, golf, fly fishing, reading and travel.
