Beech has served on the Oklahoma Bar Association Law Schools Committee and the Uniform Laws Committee. He has written and presented several papers for the National Business Institute including Fundamentals of Water Law in Oklahoma: Water Law and Lender Liability Pitfalls and Ethical Issues regarding Lending and Banks. He has also spoken for SCORE on the issues involved in selecting a business entity and lectured on the formation of limited liability companies for the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Small Business Development Center.
Beech has served three terms as President of the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association and assisted in organizing the campaign which resulted in the building of the alumni clock tower on the Southwestern campus. He continues to serve as a board member on the SWOSU Alumni Association.
Beech is an Adjunct Professor for the Park and Recreational Management Department of the SWOSU Graduate School, teaching courses in Sports Law, Employment Law and Sports, Sports Ethics, Natural Resources Law and Land Use Planning. He was instrumental in the drafting of the program of study for the Master of Education in Sports Management degree at SWOSU which commenced August 2004. He has also been a guest lecturer in Sports Law at Wichita State University and Oklahoma City University School of Law.
He is referenced in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, and Who’s Who in the South & Southwest. He has been listed in The General Bar List for several years. Beech’s law practice emphasizes insurance litigation, commercial and banking law, oil and gas, real estate issues, probate, trust law and business and contract litigation.
